‘Behold This Heart’ Rosary Beads – This durable handmade rosary is made from dark brown wooden beads and red aventurine Our Father beads. The rosary receives its name from the stunning Pardon Crucifix it displays. The Pardon Crucifix is richly symbolic and, unlike most crucifixes, the inscriptions on the reverse side are what make this crucifix truly unique. In the centre is an image of the Sacred Heart, along with the words: “Behold this heart which has so loved men” on the vertical beam. These are the words Jesus spoke to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque in a vision of His Sacred Heart in 1675. On the crossbeam are the words Jesus uttered whilst on the cross: “Father, forgive them”. At the foot of the cross are a star and a stylised “M” to symbolise and honour the Blessed Mother, who devoutly stood at the foot of the cross of her Son. MATERIALS:

– The rosary features a metal Pardon Crucifix measuring approximately 5.5cm (2.2 inch).

– It also features a silver Virgin Mary centrepiece measuring approximately 2.5cm (1 inch).

– The beads are made from dark brown wood measuring approximately 8mm and red aventurine beads measuring approximately 8mm.
Please note, there will be some slight colour, size and shape variations in the beads due to their naturality.

– Threaded together with durable waxed cotton cord.
